Cradles for fiberglass tanks
Cradles/saddles for horizontal tanks are to provide stability and structural support during operation. Most cradles for fiberglass tanks will be constructed of fiberglass and filled with polyurethane foam at our factory, or with concrete at the job site. All tanks can be mounted on steel cradles if desired or the tank can be manufactured to mount to existing cradles or piers.

Skids are also used for horizontal support and stability. Most skids are constructed of steel beams and incorporate an I-beam or channel beam design. The skids are reinforced in the middle and at the ends. When used with cradles, the cradle/tank system is mounted on the skids.
